Lockout Mode

Is it easy to operate the EDC27 UHi? Can you turn on its TURBO or STROBE instantly?
Yes
Power on- Full Press the power button to activate the memorized brightness level
Adjust brightness– Half tap the power button when the light is on
Instant Turbo or Strobe (momentary)- Half or Full press the paddle button next to the power button
The light does not turn on out of the box. Is it in the LOCKOUT mode?
Yes. Lockout is designed to prevent accidental activation. To Unlock: Tap the power button once, then immediately press and hold the same button to unlock the light. The OLED screen will display an unlocking progressing bar.
How does the sensor work? The light output does not seem to drop when I block the beam.
The sensor is designed to activate when the light detects an obstrution upon first powering on. After that, it is temporarily disabled until light is turned off and on again. Note that it may be less effective if the obejct is dark or non-reflective.
